Employment Transition Ministry

In today’s world it is not unusual that, at any given time, there will be a substantial number of people who are transitioning from one job to another. However, due to recent economic turbulence, there are more people than ever at various stages of job loss and job search.

In an effort to provide support in a time of crisis and discouragement, Hudson Community Chapel has developed a new ministry to meet the needs of people in job transition or who are looking for new career opportunities. The purpose is to provide spiritual encouragement, prayer, and the tools necessary to launch a focused and successful search.

The leadership of this ministry is comprised of Christian men who are highly-qualified specialists in human resources and related areas of the business world. They are assisted by a team of talented, qualified men and women who serve as individual counselors and coaches.

A typical session consists of an opening devotional, a topical or business presentation, Q&A, and small group working sessions. Topics focus on all aspects of the career transition and job search process (resume preparation, job search process, technology, networking, interviewing, etc). The small group working sessions, led by individual facilitators, provide an opportunity for prayer, fellowship, accountability, and developing an action plan around the meeting topic.

Periodically, the topic speaker will be a noted business and Christian leader who will share their testimony and challenge the group spiritually.

New participants are welcome at any time. Join HCC employment transitions for the spiritual strengthening, fellowship, and job search training to successfully land the next career opportunity.
