A Journey from Consumer to Disciple
As followers of Jesus, we are on a journey. Ideally to follow in the footsteps of John the Baptist when he stated, “I must become less, He must become greater.” As a church we have committed 2010 to the banner, Year of Our Lord. Our goal is to become less of a consumer and more of a disciple. This discipleship series is designed to encourage God’s people to ask themselves if they relate more to the Christian Consumer or the Christian Disciple.
This series contains six study sessions that are focused on studying the Word of God as we uncover some biblical truths to move us closer on our journey. A number of the pastoral staff has been asked to share some personal and biblical insights into this series. Those are contained on the DVD portion of the series. Each study contains biblical passages and key questions for your community group to work through both personally and collectively as a group. Thanks for being a part of Group Life!
