Small Group Leaders - Serve as primary role model for a group of 6-8 children. All materials are provided.
Spiritual Gifts/Strengths: encouragement, exhortation/discipleship, teaching, shepherding, evangelism
Specific Needs: Small group leaders for 8:45, 10:00 and 11:30 services
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate discussion and reemphasize large group lesson through crafts, games and other fun activities
• Build relationships and disciple kids to help them get to know and trust you
Time and Place: Sundays at Hudson Community Chapel in the Fish Tank and The Grid
Commitment:
• Every Sunday, at the same service hour, with the same group of children
• September through May (with substitutes available if needed)

Storyteller - Brings the Bible story to life for large groups of children.
Strengths/Spiritual Gifts: creativity, drama/performance, communication
Specific Needs: One storyteller for each of the three Sunday morning services
Responsibilities:
• Use drama, object lessons, Power Point, video and other interactive techniques to make Bible stories engaging and relevant
• Mix our curriculum and teaching tips with your own creativity
• Make lessons age appropriate for K-5th grade age groups
• Drama, theater experience not essential
Time and Place: Sundays at Hudson Community Chapel in the Fish Tank and The Grid
Commitment:
• Rotating schedule for the 8:45, 10:00, 11:30 services
• September through May
• One time per 4-6 week rotation

MC/Host - Facilitate large group worship with energy and excitement through skits, and story telling
Strengths/Spiritual Gifts: drama/performance, relational, people person, creativity, evangelism
Specific Needs: One Host for each of the three Sunday morning services
Responsibilities:
• Be a fun, engaging and energetic face that the kids will recognize each week
• Make announcements of upcoming events, opportunities
• Follow-up with rewards, re-emphasizing monthly virtue, etc…
Time and Place: Sundays at Hudson Community Chapel in the Fish Tank and The Grid
Commitment:
• Weekly at the 8:45, 10:00 and 11:30 service hours
• September through May

Tech Team Member - The “behind the scenes” role that is essential to providing a quality large group experience for kids
Strengths/Spiritual Gifts: media knowledge, creativity
Specific Needs: Two tech members for each of the three Sunday morning services
Responsibilities:
• Run power point presentation
• Operate soundboard, lighting, computer, CD player, DVD player and projector
• No Experience necessary- training available
Time and Place: Sundays at Hudson Community Chapel in the Fish Tank and The Grid
Commitment:
• One Sunday a month at the 8:45,10:00 and 11:30 service hours
• September through May

Children’s Ministry Greeter - The “first” face at HCC that parents and children will see. Being a friendly and welcoming face as parents bring their children to church.
Strengths/Spiritual Gifts: helps, encouragement, hospitality, administration
Specific Needs: Greeters for each of the three Sunday morning services
Responsibilities:
• Greet parents as they enter the Children’s Ministry area
• Direct traffic flow in the hallways
• Answer questions about HCC Children’s Ministry
• Ensure safe entrance and exit from Children’s Ministry areas
Time and Place:
• Sundays at Hudson Community Chapel in the Fish Tank and The Grid
• 15 minutes before & 15 minutes into the same service hour
Commitment:
• Every other month at the 8:45, 10:00, 11:30 services

Worship Leader - Engaging kids in lively, active, and kid-friendly worship
Strengths/Spiritual Gifts: vocal (not essential), leadership, encouragement
Specific Needs: One Worship Leader for each of the three Sunday morning services
Responsibilities:
• Help the kids understand what they are singing and why
• Lead the kids in motions that are interactive and fun
Time and Place: Sundays at Hudson Community Chapel in the Fish Tank and The Grid
Commitment:
• Weekly at the 8:45, 10:00 and 11:30 service hours
• September through May

Small Group Coach - Provide leadership and support to a team of 8-10 small group leaders and oversee classrooms on Sunday morning
Strengths/Spiritual Gifts: discipleship, encouragement, exhortation, administrative, wisdom, discernment, leadership
Specific Needs: Small group coach for each of the three Sunday morning services
Responsibilities:
• Schedule small group leaders to serve weekly
• Encourage/disciple small group leaders
• Provide materials/supplies for small group leaders as needed
Time and Place: Sundays at Hudson Community Chapel in the Fish Tank and The Grid
Commitment:
• Weekly at the 8:45, 10:00 and 11:30 service hours
• September through May

Resource Team Member - During the week, the “behind the scenes” role that helps small group leaders have a great time with their kids on Sunday morning
Strengths/Spiritual Gifts: administrative, organization, flare for the mundane, helper
Specific Needs: Resource team members who can serve during the week (flexible schedule)
Responsibilities:
• Photocopying and cutting activity pages and handouts
• Gathering supplies from storage
• Organizing supplies into appropriate containers
Time and Place: weekdays at Hudson Community Chapel, time will vary
Commitment: Morning, afternoon, evening shifts available during the week (M-F)
Weekend shifts also available

Registration/Welcome Center Attendant - Being a friendly and welcoming face as parents bring their children to church. Answering questions about Hudson Community Chapel and our Children’s Ministry
Spiritual Gifts/Strengths: helps, encouragement, hospitality, administration
Specific Needs: Welcome Center Attendant for each of the three Sunday morning services
Responsibilities:
• Greet families as they enter Children’s Ministry
• Register new families to Hudson Community Chapel
• Answer general information questions about Children’s Ministry
Time and Place: Sundays at Hudson Community Chapel in the Fish Tank and The Grid
Commitment: Every other month at the 8:45, 10:00, 11:30 service hours
